Best friends, social media child teen models, Jianna (14) and Kasandra (12), having a super fun lake day in the PNW, while wearing BeachScene swimwear. Swimwear by BeachScene. Photography by Stephan Partipilo. Special thanks Julie and Kimiko. Jianna and Kasandra's moms were present the entire shoot.
This collaboration began when the model’s parents reached out via text wanting me to do a shoot with their daughters wearing BeachScene swimwear. Summer swimwear photoshoots in the Pacific Northwest are challenging for me. The PNW coast is known for high winds, blowing sand, and freezing water temperatures.
To ensure a smoother production, we opted to shoot at a calm lake instead of the coast. Although it lacked the tropical sand we originally envisioned, the location allowed us to maximize our time and create a much more enjoyable experience for the team. While it’s clear why the industry favors tropical regions, this project proved that with the right approach, you can find beautiful results right in our own backyard.
